Jasmine Rose Oberste, MS, RH, practices Herbal Medicine in Duncan, BC where she combines elements of her background in Western and Eastern herbal medicine, Daoist diet therapy. She earned a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine
Jasmine brings to her work an integrated perspective of complementary healing modalities. In addition to extensive training in Herbal Medicine, , she has studied, practiced and taught courses in Chinese medicine, Chen style Taiji, seasonal self-care and cooking and works. She has completed advanced studies in Pulse Diagnosis with Brian La Forgia, LAc, a teacher of the Shen-Hammer system based on the teachings of Dr. John H. F. Shen, and has apprenticed with Liu Ming studying Daoist nutrition, the Chinese calendar (*jié qì * 節氣) and seasonal diet therapy and Feng Shui and practices Depth Hypnosis, grounded energy medicine and shamanism which she studied with with Dr. Isa Guccirdi.
In addition to her private practice, she has taught comprehensive review class in Chinese medicine at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, herbal medicine as continuing education privately and at ACCHS in Oakland, and Shi Liao (Chinese Medicine Nutrition) both privately and at Pacific Rim College in Victoria..
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter outdoors, crafting and gardening and crafting botanical photography and playing music.
